Deliveries are available throughout Australia, including all major cities, regional centres and many remote locations.
Site Access & Preparation Requirements
Customers are responsible for ensuring the delivery location is suitable. This includes ensuring safe truck access, adequate turning space, firm and level ground, and a sufficient unloading area. Clearance from overhead power lines, low tree branches, and other obstructions is mandatory. Deliveries must comply with local council requirements and provide suitable access for delivery vehicles. Please note that additional delivery charges may apply if delivery cannot be completed because the site is determined to be unsafe or inaccessible.
Estimated Delivery Timeframes
Delivery schedules for our shipping containers depend on multiple factors, including product availability, customer location, transport scheduling, weather conditions, public holidays and regional accessibility. We work closely with our transport partners to ensure your unit arrives as efficiently as possible.

Failed Deliveries, Risk & Delivery Delays
Transport & Re-Delivery
Additional transport or re-delivery charges may apply where delivery cannot be completed due to restricted site access, unsafe unloading conditions, incorrect delivery information, customer unavailability, last-minute location changes or obstructions preventing safe unloading.
Risk & Ownership
Risk transfers to the customer once the container has been successfully delivered to the agreed delivery location. Ownership of all goods remains with Darling Downs Shipping Containers until payment has been received in full.
Unforeseen Delays
Delays may occur due to circumstances outside the company’s reasonable control, including severe weather, flooding, bushfires, road closures, vehicle breakdowns, industrial action, supplier delays, government restrictions and supply chain disruptions. Customers will be kept informed whenever significant delays occur.
Delivery Inspection & Questions
We encourage all customers to inspect their container immediately after delivery. Please report any concerns relating to delivery damage, incorrect products, missing accessories or significant defects within 48 hours of delivery, providing photographs where possible to assist our team in a prompt resolution.
